What?! All the HITS by Abraham’s Children on one CD? Yes, the rumors are true!! I’m told that fan requests were overwhelming. To their credit the record company, BNOrecordingUSA, decided to listen and have put together what is sure to become one of their top-sellers. This long-awaited compilation, which happens to also be the band’s newest release, brings you all your favorite songs remastered, including the group’s biggest hit, Gypsy. Other chart-hitting tunes include Thank You, Goodbye Farewell and Goddess of Nature among others. And if that weren't enough to sweeten your taste for bubblegum pop, the record company has gone a couple of steps further. Each order includes a signed postcard of the band as well as the complete lyrics to all the songs. Hard core fans will especially appreciate this very special one-time bonus offer not available anywhere else. The collection of songs featured on this CD will be sure to take you for a pleasant stroll down memory lane, a time when transistor radios were the iPods of the day

HITS

MACARONI PRODUCTIONS Once upon a time, on the titan Atlantic waves, two ships would collide (metaphorically and figuratively speaking) bravely seeking the new world. From the cold heavy waters emerged two young Italian boys carrying dreams in their pockets and an uncertain destiny. Halifax's Pier 21 would be the gateway to the challenges and victories that these two wide-eyed small town boys sporting short pants would encounter. Downtown Toronto would be the pulse of their curious enthusiasm. They were the searchers, the new wayfarers of innocent delinquency. Their dreams would soon become reality. Nick Mancuso would find his niche in the world of acting while Jimi Bertucci would discover his talent for creating melodic music. The two would eventually combine their talents to produce great art through their production company, simply known as Macaroni Productions.

TORONTO CENTER ISLAND - August 11th 1974 Once again Abraham's Children would perform on the island, this time, the line-up was a bit more musically eclectic. They shared the stage with such notables. as Manfred Man, Todd Rundgren, Dr. Hook and The Medicine Show, Rory Gallagher, A Foot In Coldwater, Diamondback, Status Quo and Canned Heat The concert attracted about 25,000 excited fans and the weather was made for a good rockin day. All the bands performed to the max giving the audience a memorable evening. We always welcome pictures from any of the shows we have written about. Please email us if you have any photos or film footage.  DAVID MARSDEN - ONE ON ONE ON RADIO - My fascination with pop culture has always been entertained by the very special individuals I had the pleasure of meeting over the years. Of course, it helps if you, yourself, have some of these qualities as well. Growing up in the 60's in Toronto, Canada, I found that the choices for convincing entertainment were still an import product. Then one day I turned on the TV to see this lanky, good-looking, young man with an Everly Bro's haircut. The show was called Mickey A Go Go, and for the first time, I was watching a local show that appeared as American as apple pie. request Jimi B and Abraham's Children songs on THE ROCK (From Ciao Magazine)
Roll Over Rover 1979: BNOS4020 Words & Music by Jimi Bertucci This is a rock n roll song to be desired. Recorded at Phase One Stuidios in Toronto, Canada. When we recorded this song it started off as just a song, half way into into we realized this is hot. Once again we there were no overdubs just basic tracks. Although the song was never released we decided to add it to the 30 cd. This kick ass song was always a hit when we played it live. It features Danny Smith on drums, Laurie DelGrande on guitar, Jimi Bertucci on bass and Ron Bartley on guitar. Jimi singing lead and Laurie doing back up vocals. We had intended to finish the song and have it ready for an LP but it never happened. " You're a plaid skirt bitch, you moan when you start to itch" (GET IT NOW!!! ON THE RADIO)

When bands first get together, their goal is to find the best damn drummer around, or at least it should be. Dan Smith has earned his medallion as one of the finest percussionists ever to come out of Canada. He has played and recorded with many bands ( Brutus, Zwol, Abraham's Children, The Police and many others.) "He was one of the tightest drummers I have ever worked with".....said Jimi B. He continues to play on a more personal level these days and for fun, but admits he misses the excitement that comes with the territory. You can hear Danny on AC30 cuts like "Would Mother Approve" " I DO " " Lady The Last Time" " It's Good Its Funky But It's White " and more. Dan lives in Toronto, Canada . He speaks with Jimi on a regular basis and plans to reunite with him either in California or Toronto to have some fun and jam.
