Malibu
Circle endlessly white bird
Survive you must
Footprints leave traces of time
Lost in the sands swept to sea
Castles engulf the visions
They hide from more than truth
Secrets are pills
Stories that fill their rooms
Dreams of sets and debris
Last only for awhile
They die each day they are not found
The movie star the homeless
Both search for warmth under bridges of facade
They leave this earth when their time comes
With riches or empty halls
The dances of the natives
Linger the salt breeze
Angry in the wind
They've lost their holy ground
With laughter and champagne
On crowded decks of pretense
The shouts echo far
The horizon has no end
I walk the beaches of paradise
Lonely and sometimes with envy
Searching for the perfect Strom'bus
In Malibu

Dry These Tears
Green is the room my eyes see
Blue is the sigh on my face
The distance from you cuts my soul
My thoughts penetrate our love
To give is to cry
How do I live in this forest of emptiness
Reach out to me with hope
Dry these tears
Maybe sleep will carry me
Slumber you to my needs
Vanish the thorns I lay with
Dry these tears
 A Walk Near Me
The secrets haunt our wants
Your voice is silent yet screams take me
Suffer we must
For we care about life
We hide and feel guilt
That clutches our hearts
Not because it is wrong
But rather it's so damn right
Like the Osprey I dive towards you
Angry when I reach emptiness
Nights are a warning in its darkness of hurt
I want to sleep and dream
Maybe of you
How cold is the mystery of our souls
The day is disturbed by unreachable needs
Close your eyes close my thoughts
Time is cruel but promising

I Hurt
I awaken in a rude asunder
The years have been a mockery of distain
I have heard the praises from strangers
Felt her emptiness bellow in my pain
She once adored me so she implied
Afraid to surrender her love for me
We strangle our moments together
Pretending to hide our discomfort
Enstranged like demons possessed
I have died a million deaths
Why has time been so cruel
Were the words we spoke of passion
Uncaring like angry storms
Was the gentleness of my touch
A numbness on your distant skin
I pray for a kiss of kindness from my lover
Only she fills my wondering vessel
The laughter is buried in cold smiles
The hand I once held like a lifeline
Now drowns my broken heart
Love has abandoned my tomorrows
I walk without direction in silence
If I speak I hurt I hurt
My Heart
My heart holds the secrets of my life
The torment the beauty the undiscovered
It shares my thoughts my pain my hurt
My heart can be a mean heart
Stoned in confusion never to crumble
Reverent strength so powerful God like
A companion from my demons
The rivers of my flowing universe
It guides emotions from rampant
My heart lies to me but always in truth
I hate my heart I love my heart
We understand each other
It protects me
 Zio Turi
James Dean was my uncle
My uncle was James Dean
A man of renaissance the rebel
Holy in his thoughts gifted minstrel
Raising his glass to the stars
Life danced with him
He was the teacher to my innocence
Music was his freedom
Some would say he was sexy
Italian with a hard head
He spoke of living in honesty
Chasing the moral chase
Embracing the new world
We smoked we drank like men do
Grace Street was the nucleus
The Strato Chief was tan metal shined
He listened to Claudio Villa
The red accordion had ivories
I visit his bed he is pale detached
Am I a ghost in his presence no
Silence awakens my thoughts
I cry inside and ask God why
We hold hands tight never to do again
I feel his journey he smiles

Magnet Pink NEW
Her beauty reveals soft sacred magnet pink
Brushing the fabric silk curves eyes shut
The tower his jewels the rapid mind nervous rush
Still is the water hearts pound for life rousing the spirits
Images in mirrors protrude without reflected vision
Have you cut without bleeding in rains cold?
Dancing nude by angry rivers reaching high
Sing to me she whispers cleanse me your music
Play me he sighs drinking her wetness
Unbind the flaming lips rest the moments
My shoulders carry the reasons to journey
What words spoke of love to be gentle
Does hate not feel striking the soul
She is my joy unselfish my believer
God loves her man loves her I love her
Hear the violins seduce the starving mind
Jumping from rock to rock the running springs
The moon light shadows disrobe her secrets
She is beautiful strong a goddess a mother
Once the pretty maiden fell upon my humorous lust
Waking songbirds bonding arms amore under the sun
Distance is a battle hold me in your thoughts
I return never to leave
