The Killing Road - We had a philosophy on the road: You can spend the night, but don't use my toothbrush in the morning. How preposterously arrogant. But as much as some don't like to admit, rock n roll is a cavalier art. From the first day I picked up a guitar, I felt my confidence ..(more)

Some Things Last Forever - 2005 BNOS4026 - Words & Music by Jimi Bertucci - Some Things Last Forever Jimi's poetic flair for writing love songs comes shining through in Some Things Last Forever.Featuring Peter Foldy on backing vocals. Anyone and everyone who has ever fallen in love will relate to this one. As one of the most requested tunes by fans attending the band's concerts......... " Leonardo and Van Gogh would sacrifice I know and kings would give up thrones to be with you " WOW. Abraham's Children finally decided to add it as a regular to their live show set list. Smart move on their part!

I Wasn't Searching - Eccentricity CDs & Records S102507 - When I hear a song that excites me I want to SHOUT it out to the world. I do a tremendous amount of music surfing and I can honestly say I have songs coming out of my sunglasses....This song vibrates the inner boundaries of reality. "I was an island so far away" simple volcanic expression of lost love. This is a painting of sculpted hard words that attach themselves to the cells of your soul. Do we listen to messages of tormented ambiguity.....or has society become accustom to drive thrus. This is a sit down stand up song. Kant Geattalon

Winning Side: 1975 United Artists Records - BNOS4008 Words & Music by Jimi Bertucci This would be the first single that Jimi B would release under the production band name ANGEL (pre-US band), since leaving Abraham's Children. His style had taken a directional change. Using sax and featuring backing vocals by Cathy Young and Beverly D'Angelo. It also featured some great players, including Duane Ford on keys, The song had an R&B feel; although it was tight and had a strong hook, radio play was limited, because of the word ("queer" is apparently worth censoring at this point in time). His reference at the end of the song, "Hey Jack, You ain't got nothin' on me now, boy," alluded to a management contract dispute. Recorded at Eastern Sound Toronto Canada. Engineered by Ken Freisen
Thank You 1973: Gas Records -BNOS4019 Words & Music by Jimi Bertucci & Ron Bartley - 1973 The band would release two singles. This was the song that introduced the band to that big string sound (pre ELO) ,,,,Arranged by David Van De Pitte a talented arranger and musician. Thank You would solidify the band as a bubble gum chew. The melody and hook of the song was followed by large strings. The song gained even more attention for the band and now the radio stations were feeling comfortable with this pop band. Thank You was also released on Buddha in the USA and Polydor in Europe . A thrill I remember to this day, was receiving a post card from a friend of mine that was visiting Germany and in her card she writes..."Jimi I can't believe that I'm listening to Thank You on the radio as I'm doing 90 on the Auto baun..... Love Helena". Recorded at RCA Studios - George Semkiw - Engineer - Paul Gross - Producer.

Murder In The Office ... " I will never forget the tragic morning of August 24th. I can still feel the anguish and unsettling in my stomach with just the mention of that date. I arrived at the office around 8:00 o'clock, as I usually do, only to be surrounded by police ( more )Coming soon

"Bridge Uncrossed", Whether in his prose, poetry or musical lyrics, Mr. Bertucci exhibits a flair for creating a richly detailed and colorful visual experience for his audiences and readers. The setting for his latest work, Bridge Uncrossed, is the unassuming (more) Coming soon.
